Meet Mel

I adopted Mel from the rescue I volunteer for a few years ago. He was found tied to a pole with a chain embedded in his neck. He has been my faithful companion ever since. Mel was recently diagnosed with a Grade III mast cell tumor which resulted in the amputation of his left rear leg, He will be starting chemo treatments soon. After all he has been through all he does is SMILE. Only 8 days since surgery and its like nothing ever happened, he is already jumping around like his old self.
