Meet Meisha

Four years ago I rescued Meisha. She was one year old and near death from starvation. She fought hard to survive this horror with the help of a Calgary vet and his caring team. Meisha's name means Teddy Bear and what a sweet, sweet girl she is. She loved the social interaction at CDC dog school taking obedience, and agility classes. Unfortunately she has developed Pituitary Cushings Syndrome which is treatable but not a curable disease. After months of not responding to the treatment and almost losing our sweet teddy bear we drove her to the University Hospital of Minnesota, Vet Hospital. After consulting with an Internal Medicine Specialist a new medication was started and she has again shown us what a fighter she is and now is improving every day. She was not ready to give up living yet! She is my heart.
