Meet Max E. Moose

Max was found in rural Virginia wandering the streets by himself. He had no collar or identification and he had heart worm. Meanwhile, I was in DC on what seemed like and endless search for a dog. When I saw this goofy boy at an adoption event, so full of joy, love and trust, despite his rocky past, I knew he was my dog. Since then Max has learned about a delicious thing called peanut butter, how to sleep in a (human) bed, and that he is not hurting anything when he squeaks his toys. His favorite hobby is grabbing other dogs dog's beards or ears for a nice game of tug-of-war, and his trademark is his long and always wagging tongue (and tail).
