Meet Marlboro

I got Marly from the local pound. I searched every single pen in every single isle and was about to leave when I saw one last door. I opened it up, and in the very last pen, there she was. As soon as I saw her I knew she was the dog for me. I hadn't planned on bring home a dog that day, but I couldn't wait. I called my roommate several times and she never answered. I knew she would hate me because she has a dog too, and they are supposed to meet before she moves it. But I had to have her. I brought her home and when my roommate finally came home she was terrified. All 35lbs of Marly was three times the size of her dog. She hated me for a week and would not leave my dog home alone with her dog. She hated poor Marly for a month! But the same charm that won me over eventually melted her cold heart and she is now a permanent member of the family. And the poor poodle is her best friend!! Marly has the biggest personality you will ever see. She wears her emotions on her sleeve and I know exactly what she is thinking at all times. Marly definitely has her favorite toy. She loves my cat's toys. Her absolute favorite is the long stick with the dangling feathers at the end of a string. She will run as fast as she can, do back flips, jump over couches, spin in circles, etc. Sometimes I think I have two cats! Her favorite place to sleep is on the head rest of the couch! She also thinks she is a chihuahua sometimes and tries to curl up and crawl all over you. Even though she only weighs 38 lbs, it is still too much to be a lap dog. But no one cares, Marly crawls right into your heart and you cannot help but fall in love with how sweet she is.
