Meet Makita

I adopted Makita from a shelter one year ago. As soon as I took her home i noticed that she loved to be with me and help me. If I dropped my medicine bottle or anything she will pick it up and put it on my lap. She even gives me a tissue from the box when I sneeze. At times the tissue is stuck in the box so when that happens she brings me the entire box. She loves doing tricks and being the center of attention. She even rings a bell when she has to go outside to do her business. She is so smart and whenI took her to a trainer he told me that she can be my service dog since I am disabled. She is still being trained as my mobility dog and helps me to do daily chores and balance when I walk. She now comes everywhere with me and really helps me out alot. She is also very friendly to all and loves to howl, sometimes I think she says I love you. Even though I adopted her Makita really adopted me. It was meant to be. I named her Makita because it means "Forever Friend".
