Meet Maggie Mae

Maggie Mae is a 1yo Beagle/Dachshund mix. We rescued her when she was 5mos old from the Humane Society in Pueblo, CO. My wife and I were both stationed at Ft. Carson, CO & I had recently returned from a deployment in Afghanistan. Little did I know that the nightmarish hold of PTSD was slowly setting in tightening around me. In a very dark & trying time our life, Maggie Mae came into our lives & began healing the many wounds of a life of combat & nightmares. She has definitely been a bright light
