Meet Luna Joy

Luna Joy has had an interesting life so far, especially considering she is only just over a year old! Luna has lived in three different provinces, and been on 10 planes so far. Luna is a rescue dog from Northern Manitoba, her name comes from the book "Stellaluna" where a young bat was abandoned by her mother. When I found her she was being pulled around in a sleigh by two young children, she was only 2 weeks old. I had to feed her milk from my fingers every four hours for two weeks and then she began to eat solid food. Despite her rough start, Luna Joy is an amazing dog! She loves cuddling, relaxing on the couch and playing with other dogs. She is kind, sweet and very friendly, sometimes she even thinks she is a human!
