Meet Luca
Luca is 100% deaf and communicates via "doggie" sign language. His temperament is uniquely gentle, which enables him to serve as a pet therapy service animal for children with disabilities in the Bronx, New York. Luca is an 80 pound meatball born to love! Luca loves nature and the outdoors, so my husband and I take him to Central Park every day and venture out of NYC to beaches on Long Island and in Westchester, NY. This gorgeous photo was taken on a boat on the Long Island sound, where we were SURROUNDED by dolphins! Luca loved the cool breeze and the splashing of the water when the dolphins slapped their fins.
