Meet Lady Bella

Bella is a very intelligent, one year old Chihuahua. She loves to play fetch, snuggle on the couch, and even look at herself in the mirror. She smiles all the time and always knows just how to spread her love and happiness to others... Lady Bella will do anything for a goldfish or a piece of pineapple including her most well-performed trick--standing on her hind legs while turning a complete circle and then jumping to get her reward. She has so much personality! When her food bowl is empty, she drags it to the middle of the room so that she is in my sight with it, puts her paw in the bowl, and looks at me until I get up and fill it for her. Although this does not happen often, and most dog parents would find it demanding, I think that it is amazing that she is smart enough to let me know when she really needs something. She is not a regular eater. Some days she eats more than other days. As much as I would like to keep her on a regular schedule, I understand that often times we, and our dogs, are more hungry one day than we are other days, especially after chasing our dreams (or the ball).
