Meet Kiara

Kiara passed away in 2014 doing her job - protecting the volunteers at Riverside Wildlife Rehab Centre. She accompanied them on a bushwalk & was tragically killed by a crocodile. She was a beloved member of the centres baboon troop & was a huge comfort to the young orphans who she protected fiercely. She had a very special bond with the baboon pictured, named Wu Kong, who was visibly devastated by her sudden absence. She is greatly missed by the Thousands Of Volunteers who's lives she touched.
