Meet Jake

My Jake (Jakey) not only is one of the most beautiful dogs I've ever seen in person - I know I'm biased but thichampions comes from some opinions that are not but one of the most athletic, fast and agile but not in agility courses but flat out speed and jumping ability. I think he has top shelf dock jumping ability which I'm going to test this summer. At our dog park which has a pond ALL he wants to do is jump into it to catch sticks. On land ALL he wants to do is catch sticks and tennis balls as far out and as high as you can throw it. What sets him apart is his intensity - it is almost spiritual his stare and crouch before I do a throw. Where other dogs chase as hobby ... this is Jake's profession ... his life and obsession that still photos just cannot capture (videos are in the works). I believe the current dock jumping champion is the Belgian Malinois "Baxter" at 30 feet or so? ... with a nod of total respect in his direction I say to him: "My good man watch your tail ... my Jakey's on it!" - Joel (Jakey's human - I can't say I'm his owner he owns us!)
