Meet Jackson
Jackson is a double merle who is deaf. What Dan and I didn't know is that breeders who breed double merles have a 25 percent chance in creating a deaf and/or blind puppy. These breeders then kill the puppy with this disability never giving the pup a chance. Jackson has been a true blessing and he acts like any other dog but just has to be alittle bit more careful when outside. What jackson has taught us is to not judge a disability and we are now much more educated on double merle catahoulas.
