Meet Grady

Grady came into my life as a 3 month old bundle of energy who was locked in a cage at a shady pet store that I normally would never enter. As with many of their dogs, they received him from a puppy mill. Since no one wanted him, they were ready to ship him off to the local Humane Society, where Pit pups are euthanized almost instantly. He licked my nose and I was sold. Since then, Grady's grown to be a well-mannered, incredibly friendly guy who loves to charm anyone who comes his way. He has some health problems--a tail injury that sometimes requires anti-inflammatories and pain meds, grain allergies that require a homemade diet, and seasonal allergies that cause his skin to itch--but you'd never know it by his disposition. Grady is an incredibly silly, 80 pound lug who thinks cuddling is a sport and enjoys wearing a classy argyle sweater in the cold (and even when it's not cold, oddly enough).
