Meet Gracie

A pic of my pup when she was less than a year old. (She's now 18 1/2.) Believe it or not, it's not posed or altered in any way. Before camera phones (or even digitals), I kept my Canon AE-1 nearby for pup pic opportunities. Here, Gracie had taken her stuffed toy and crawled into this basket. The look, the setting, etc. were all perfect. I just grabbed my camera and snapped. The (developed..this is a scan of the original print.) result: one of my favorite photos of all time. I'm finally sharing.
