Meet Fanny
Fanny is a unique retriever because she isn't the strongest swimmer. Although you wouldn't know it from this photo taken at beautiful Gunn Lake, BC. She was a late bloomer not swimming till the age of 10 months with plenty of ribbing from the other dog owners at various lakes and parks. "A Golden Retriever that won't swim! What's wrong with that dog!" Even now at 9 yrs old, she always has a slightly worried frown when swimming as if to say "I might not make it this time". Fanny is the baby in the family and she knows it.
