Meet Duke
Duke was a rescue - given up by 2 familes, taken from the pound by a GSD rescue just in time and then adopted by us Christmas 2011. Duke was in poor health and distrusting of us when we first got him but he's settled in to country life perfectly now 6 months later! We are in love with our gentle giant who is best buds with our female GSD Daisy and know he loves us too when he gives kisses and praces around tempting us to play fetch with the biggest stick/log he can carry.

- Dislikes howling cayotes, loud motorcycles and being on leash
- Foods anything stinky like tuna or salmon skin
- Pastimes watching tv on the chilly foyer tiles, going for hikes to the pond but refusing to go for a swim, chasing balls and sticks, lounging on the front porch
