Meet Dante

In October 2008 a group of agility friends and local rescue organizations told me they were going to Montreal to help out with a recent puppy mill raid. The orginal plan was to take supplies to Montreal....well soon I had a new 5 month old puppy that I said I would foster. Within two weeks I had already decided that I would adopt him. Now Dante is about 1 yr old, has blossomed into an amazing agility dog, all around companion and is an entertaining little boy. He has also brought back life to my 10 yr old Golden retriever named Taylor, I swear he's gone back to puppyhood!!! I can't tell you how much Dante has enriched my life. Not so long ago I had an accident, fractured several bones in my back and I couldn't even walk. My Golden Taylor helped me to push myself so that I could walk again, if it wasn't for him I don't think I would be walking. However, since Dante has come into my life he pushed me back into doing what I love, agility. I never imagined I would walk, yet alone run. I see him as a gift to my life and well-being. I am so thankful for four legged friends.
