Meet d'Angelo
d'Angelo's full name is d'Angelo Barksdale Dickson, after a character from The Wire who wanted a second chance. D is a very happy pooch--his favorite thing is to play at the beach, as seen in this photo. d'Angelo is very smart and eager to please: he was the valedictorian of his obedience class. He is also an extremely lucky pooch, and was rescued from a high-kill shelter just in time! Two days after being rescued he contracted pneumonia and almost didn't make it. D's family is so happy to have him and is such a special little guy. Just look at that face!!
