Meet Cloverton
Cloverton's real name is 'Cloverton The Deaf Dog' and he like all other dogs is amazing and special. Cloverton was born deaf and knows about 25 different signs. Cloverton is also the first dog to ever be allowed to participate in a Multiple Sclerosis Bike Charitable bike ride. You see, Cloverton is also a certified medical assist dog and will be accompanying me in a special dog trailer during the 2011 Bike MS Colorado ride on June 25th and June 26th. Cloverton is also the inspiration for a non-profit foundation that we're building called, Cloverton The Deaf Dog, which will raise money through the sales of Cloverton The Deaf Dog merchandise for the Rocky Mountain School for Deaf Children in Golden, Colorad; The Spirit of the Deaf Dog Association, and the American Society for Deaf Children. Because of Cloverton's deafness, he is very visually acute and incredibly easy to pose. He loves dressing up and when put into the 'stay command,' visually, he freezes into position and will hold until released. Cloverton is a lover of all things and always in play mode. He's a big furry 3 year old puppy with a zest for life that inspires others and he serves as a role model to deaf children that no matter what your handicap, you can always have fun and play! Thank you.
