Meet Chief

It's impossible to take him for a thorough walk without interruption. We are stopped constantly with people asking about him. We had a policeman pull us over while we had him in the car, the policeman pulled up along side us and said did you know that it's illegal to transport bears in NY? We have owned two dogs in my son's life, our chocolate lab Nathan who was our pride and joy, who sadly passed from bone cancer and now Chief, who was actually born on the day Nathan died - a little weird? Chief has Nathan's sweet sweet soul, never a snap or a bite. He is imposing and intimidating looking, but would rather lick you death!
