Meet Carmen Maria Guadalupe

Carmen is a Xoloitzcuintli, the dog of Mexico. The Xolo has been around since the indigenous people of Mexico/South America. They were known as the guides of the underworld, healers, and spirit guides. They are a hairless breed and rare here in the US. Frida Kahlo was very fond of them and included them in her artwork which brought awareness to the breed. The most recent Xolo in media is Dante from the Disney movie "Coco". Carmen is an intelligent loving pup always looking for a new adventure.
