Meet Buca

Love of my life!! Buca, a very handsome black lab mix, shared his life with me. I cannot begin to describe how lucky I am for him to have chosen me for his mom! He was born in 1999 and came into my home when just a few months old. We have lived and traveled across country (and back again) and my Buca was always right there with me. In December 2008, he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and I was crushed. However, he was in great shape otherwise, so we decided to proceed with radiation and chemo. He tolerated his treatments very well and we had an additional 13 months of great quality time with our baby boy, which I will forever be thankful for. Although he went to the Rainbow Bridge on 1/19/10, Buca will always be in our hearts and our minds, and until we meet again......I love you, Buca!
