Meet Brooke
She was a puppy mill breeder who was rescued. She had not been adopted because she had a rectal prolapse that was very bad and very difficult to deal with. We took her anyway and she had tests, x-rays and finally a 6 hour surgery at U of I vet hospital.. She spent a week in the hospital then came home. She still has a heart mummer and a bad back leg but is a wonderful girl.
