Meet Bogart
Bogart is our one-eyed rescue boy, he was a foster dog and we flunked Fostering 101. Through the NC shelter and DC-based rescue, we became acquainted with his original family, and we have all become friends and stayed in touch, even visiting one another. Bogie will be 17 in January. He loves his mushy-toys, cuddling and keeping his eye on things. One of the smartest dogs I've ever met, he easily communicates his likes and wants very clearly, by doing the "hula". Here he is relaxing on the back deck while his daddy roasts coffee.
