Meet Biscuit

Meet Biscuit - we adopted Biscuit when she was 12 weeks old (now 3 1/2 yrs old). At age 8 months she suffered her first broken leg (while she was jumping to catch a ball). To make a long story short, she broke the same leg twice more and had additional surgeries, due to bone problems, etc. that the vets did not discover immediately. Anyway, throughout her 18 month ordeal she has been an absolutely terrific dog, especially given her Border Collie heritage which makes her extremely active. Now that her leg has healed (steel plate and screws in it but she's good to go), she outplays several other dogs (our 2 1/2 yr old cocker spaniel and my sister-in-laws 2 cocker spaniels) all at the same time and then all the humans who happen to be in the house. I think she's making up for lost time. Anyway, enjoy and watch for more Biscuit (and her sister, Buttons) pics in the coming days.
