Meet Biggie/Blossom

In this picture, Blossom is the "big spoon", cuddling with her new boy toy, Biggie. Biggie came to us as a foster dog from the Chicago Bully Breed Rescue. He was found on the side of the highway, having been thrown from a car. He had been used as a bait dog, so he had many injuries to begin with, but after he was tossed from the moving vehicle, he also suffered a broken hip. Initially, we kept the two dogs separate, not certain if either of them would be friendly with another dog. Eventually they met, and just as we fell in love with Biggie, so did Blossom. They're now inseparable, so of course, we decided we had to adopt him. His injuries have since healed and both dogs are doing very well living together.
