Meet Bari

Barli means "little bear" in German. When I brought Barli home at six weeks old, she looked like a bear cub, hence her name. Her name fits her well, as we spend our vacations in the White Mountains of New Hamshire where bears are very popular. Barli's favorite hobbie isnt chewing shoes, chasing squirrels or playing catch...its swimming! Ever since she was three months old Barli has loved the water. She will swim and swim until complete exhaustion. This picture was taken after Barli swam 7 miles down the Saco River in the White Mountains of New Hampshire while I canoed. Part of the time she would swim in front of the canoe and pull me!
