Hollywood and Animal Lovers Alike Mourn Philanthropist and Simpsons Co-Creator Sam Simon

Yesterday Sam Simon, co-creator of the Simpsons, philanthropist, tireless animal rights champion, and wonderful human being, died of colon cancer at 59. Since his diagnosis in 2012, Simon spent the rest of his life trying to give away his entire $100 million fortune to causes close to his heart, like animal foundations. To say he will be missed is an epic understatement. The world has lost a bright light entirely too soon.
