It's Bastille day (le quatorze juillet or la fête nationale if you're feeling French and fancy)! You don't have to be a Poodle to celebrate this French national holiday. We'd all love to hop a plane and picnic at the Eiffel Tower, but if your celebrations are keeping you a little more local, here's a couple of adorably French themed books! Amusez-vous!

American pup Hudson is back in France, this time vacationing in Provence and you’ll wish you were there with him! Hudson is looking to find his purpose, but it is only when he stops trying to be like other dogs that he learns just what that is. Prepare to be enchanted by this little dog abroad and the charming illustrations of his French adventures. A delightful story for animal lovers young and old alike!

paris chien

Two things inspired this delightfully charming illustrated children’s book—Jackie Clark Mancuso’s own time in the City of Light and a scruffy little Norwich Terrier named Hudson. In Paris-Chien, Hudson, newly relocated from the US to France, learns that while moving to a new place and making friends can be difficult, it can also be an amazing adventure. A wonderful book to share with the children in your life.
