In an earlier blog I spoke about the Genesis Awards which was held this past weekend in Beverly Hills, CA.  This star-studded event shines the spotlight on producers, directors, writers and celebrities who through their publicity power are able to bring animal cruelty issues to light. Modern Dog’s Spring 08 cover model, Ellen DeGeneres was one of those honoured for her role in publicizing the plight of factory farm animals.
