โ€œI have a dog. And itโ€™s coming home with me.โ€ It was our seventh wedding anniversary and these were not exactly the words I was longing to hear from my husband. I naively thought he was calling on his drive home from a late-night class to remind me how wonderful he thought I was, or to declare that, after seven years, he was still itch-less in our relationship.
