Mona Campbell , a Canadian businesswoman and tireless advocate for animals, departed this world last May but will live on in the memories of animal lovers for years to come as a result of her donation to the Ontario Veterinary College. She donated $7.5 million dollars (the University’s largest-ever single donation) of which half will be used for animal welfare programs while the other half for a cancer centre (Canada’s first).
