I recently had the chance to stay at the lovely (and very dog friendly) Loden Boutique Hotel in the heart of beautiful Coal Harbour, Vancouver. This chic hotel is situated right downtown, so the location is perfect, especially since it’s in walking distance of several off-leash dog parks! Plus, it’s just plain pretty.

Checking in with your pooches is a breeze, and the friendly and helpful staff are delighted to welcome four legged guests. I was blown away by the view from my room provided by the floor-to-ceiling windows, and pleased to find a huge and superbly comfortable bed for me, and a smaller, equally comfortable bed for the dogs! The flat screen TV provided the in-house entertainment, even while I was busily getting ready in the bathroom (there are speakers in the ceilings so I could keep up with the Golden Girls’ tomfoolery while doing my hair and makeup!)

The Loden hotel ensures that while you lavish in luxury, your dogs do too! In addition to the plush bed, your dogs will also be welcomed with a charming squeaky toy, gourmet treats, their own dishes, and a map highlighting nearby off-leash dog parks for you to discover! Plus, you’ll also find a gift card for Bark & Fitz that you can spend along with Fido at their location near the hotel.

Don’t feel like walking? No problem, the Loden has its own shuttle car and they’ll gladly take you and Rex wherever you need to go! All that matters is that you and your furry traveler have the most fun possible while enjoying the beautiful scenery and lush digs.
