Now that the holidays are over, I finally had time to take stock and sort through my favourite gifts (yes, I’m that excited at the thought of cataloguing all of my new items). Knowing that I am a real book nerd, my family usually turns to rare and hard to find tomes as the go-to gift for me. One of the best things I received this Christmas was a book called A Dog Book, a random collection of  recipes,

stories, anecdotes,

 

humourous lists,

and incredibly creepy vintage images.

I have no idea where this book came from as the gifter refused to divulge where they found it. One thing I do know is that I absolutely love this collection of dog snippets and the message it conveys, that we loved our dogs back then and we REALLY love our dogs now.
