Our dogs at Modern Dog headquarters – Esther, Rose, Neo and Mr. Big – are
continually spoiled with the latest and best the dog world has to offer,
including wonderful, natural grooming products. I was therefore excited to open
a package of products formulated with human skin in mind. As I pulled a
bountiful array of wonderful smelling shampoos, conditioners, soaps, lotions,
lip balms and more from the UPS box, it felt like present opening time on
Christmas morning. All the products are manufactured by Kiss My Face, a
company that I am already familiar with and love; I’ve been using one of
their Lavender/Shea Butter body moisturizers for some time now and it’s to die
for… I slather it on daily after showering. The lingering scent is amazing (did you know that lavender is
known for its calming/relaxing/balancing properties?) and the Shea butter makes
it ultra-moisturing. Kiss my Face is a natural product company. The
health-conscious will be happy to know that it contains no parabens. So with
these wonderful products in hand, I’m going to take some time off from a
super-hectic schedule — we just closed the Winter
issue so it’s been crazy busy around here — and
pamper myself and relax a bit, taking a lesson from the canine set here at the
office who provide me with a daily example on how to to both take it easy and
enjoy the moment.
