We always look forward to our annual trip to Chicago for the
much-anticipated HH Backer Christmas trade show. It’s a week-long whirlwind of
business mixed with fun… a time to meet up with many of our
advertisers/friends who oftentimes we get to see only at such events while catching
up on everything new in the world of pets (be sure to pick up a copy of the
Winter issue to see our finds).  Walking the cement floors of a
tradeshow is exhausting at the best of times and at the day’s end you’re ready
to collapse back in your hotel room;  however, after a reviving glass of wine
and snack, we’re lured  back out to take advantage of shopping,
socializing or eating at some of the amazing spots this city offers up.
