Goldie the Dog Seen At Numerous Olympic Venues
Goldie, our rascally and fun-loving sock puppet mascot has
been seen at numerous Olympic venues. Below Goldie hitches a ride with Annica Tong (Modern Dog’s sales & mktg manager extraordinaire) on the adrenalin-rushing zip-line that extends down Robson St. For those who aren’t familiar with this area, think world-class shopping, fab restaurants and tourists galore.ย ย
At peak times, it’s not uncommon for many of the Olympic pavilions to have 3-hour line-ups to get in. Here’s Goldie, contemplating how she’s going to dodge the line at Irish House… thirsty she needs a beer now.
Big city bright lights, street shows, and lots and lots of people on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver. Goldie’s motto, see and be seen!!
Her plans foiled to jump the line at Irish House, she’s hatching a plan to masquerade as a cowboy in hopes the Alberta House gate security lets her in thinking she’s a member of the country band playing this venue.
ย
This dog really gets around. Catching Olympic fever, she can’t get enough… here she is strolling around False Creek taking in the sights on a lovely (and warm) Vancouver day. ย
Oh Canada! Here’s a Canadian displaying true national spiritย whilst looking across the water to the Olympic village (I don’t think he knows that Goldie the dog has joined him for a free ride).ย
