Goes Solar-Powered

Kudos to California-based
Cardinal Laboratories (a 60 year old pet care products manufacturer) who, October
29th, flipped off the switch to go 100% solar power to operate their
manufacturing and distribution facility. Apparently, they’re so energy
efficient their plant is now air conditioned much to the delight of their employees,
plus they still have power to spare so they’re actually sending power back to their
local utility company! We can all relate to how our pets help keep us in touch
with nature so it’s wonderful to see a strong movement in the pet industry,
such as Cardinal’s solar powered plant,  to help preserve our natural resources and
environment.
