The number of pets in China continues to grow—currently 33 million Chinese families have a dog or a cat and it is estimated that the pet population totals 288 million.

Granting access to this market is the China International Pet Show (CIPS), this year taking place in Shanghai. When the show opens its doors November 4 – 7, it will welcome an expected 36,000 visitors who have come to check out the wares of an estimated 1,000 exhibitors.

Regarded as a gateway to the entire Asian market and a global sourcing platform for the pet industry as a whole, CIPS sees both domestic and international exhibitors and attendees. Highlights include a forum to meet wholesalers and distributors from China and Japan, a cutting-edge dog grooming competition, and the display of new and innovative products under the motto “Fashion, Novelty, Charm, and Harmony.” Sign us up!
