Robert Pattinson Saves Death-Row Dog. Sigh.
Twilight fans, prepare to swoon
Brace yourself, Twihards. Robert Pattison gave us just one more reason to love his already pretty-darn-dreamy self. He recently swooped in and saved his new rescue dog, Bear, from a Louisiana-area shelter just one day before the dog was to be put down.
As part of the press junket for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn โ Part 1, Pattison appeared on Live! With Regis and Kelly, charming the audience with tales of rescuing his dog from a shelter near Baton Rouge, La.
"He was in one those shelters where they don’t keep them around for very long," Pattinson told hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa. "He was on his sixth of seven days."
And, boy, has that lucky dogโs fortune changed.
"Just by coincidence โ this doesn’t happen in my life very often โ but I ended up being on a private jet like three days later," he continued. "It was kind of ridiculous. Literally three days after that, we were going to L.A. and he had his own seat [on the plane]."
