Meet Roxie
Roxie is a champion racing dachshund. Roxie loves to race and compete against other dachshunds and can barely wait her turn to get into the gate. Once its opened she flies out like a caged bird and glides across the track to the finish often leaving dachshunds in her dust. But she loves to get into the competition with equally fast dachshunds to the photo finish. This is my favorite photo of her during a championship races by photographer Stephanie Hayes.
