Meet Cambria

Cambria was rescued from a puppy mill at around 1 1/2 years of age. She was found with her fur matted and lying in her own filth. She was also minutes away from dying of a uterine infection. Luckily, the rescue group patched her up. My husband and I saw her at one of their adoption events and fell in love with her. We've had her for about six months now and she has come so far from the terrified dog we brought home. She used to cower whenever we tried to pet her. She constantly retreated to her kennel and stiffened whenever we held her. But now, she comes bounding out to us when we get home from work, wagging her tail and begging to be picked up. She now knows she is a loved member of our family.
