Meet Jackie

Jackie is (we think) about 3 yrs old. she is a beautiful "Jack" that had a sad beginning...she spent the first 2 years of her life in the slums of a "puppy-mill".... producing puppies for sale..... Through the effors of a rescue group (Mini-Mutts) in Madison Ohio and wonderful volunteers - she was lovingly rescued with 17 other dogs. I found her on a Pet Finder web site. A whole bunch of arrangements had to be made for her to be with us but it was SO WORTH IT !!!! She now lives the good life in Thunder Bay Ontario with a family that loves her very much !! In fact she is so great that we rescued a little brother for her :) More people should consider rescue dogs - they are so grateful for the love and the second chance at a good life.
