Hershey (Birdie) Benjamin

Hersh was a "once in a lifetime" dog. I always wanted a Choco lab, my wife brought her home for me one day, when we were living in San Antonio, TX. I fell in love with her the very first time she licked my face. She was my big, (118lbs), sloppy, loving, beautiful, gentle giant girl. She was my baby, from the start. She would do anything for me. For nearly 12 years, she was at my side every moment I was home. She loved to be hugged and "COOED" when I would rub her ears and love on her. She had the most wonderful yellow-brown eyes, it was like looking into her kind soul. She loved people and kids and bones. I have a giant hole in my heart now, I miss her and talk to her every day. She was my best friend (besides my wife) on the entire planet. There will never be another like her. Rest in Peace my wonderful Chocolate girl! We will love you forever. I pray that GOD allows me to meet you at the rainbow bridge and hug you once again. Thanks for your unconditional love. I love you!
