in memory of

Roxy

Jul 01, 2007 - Feb 13, 2013 Missed by Laura in Charlotte, NC

My Roxy Girl was my wild child. She had been left at my vets early July 08, homeless. She was a year old, looked like a little fox and had the energy of a jumping bean. We were a "failed foster" family as we were hers from the start. My 2 Chihuahua males and I were set in our ways, and she sure shook things up! Definitely leader of the pack. She jumped out of bed every morning with excitement and happy anticipation of what the new day would bring. Slow down was not in her vocabulary. I joked my southern belle spent her first year on the streets of NYC; she was 6 lbs. and tough as nails but had the biggest, sweetest brown eyes you'd just get lost in them. She made me laugh every day. We were blessed with her presence for 4 1/2 years. Sadly one night she got away and ran into traffic. I was with her at the end, loving on her and thanking her for letting us be her family and for sharing her joy with us. The house is very quiet now. We miss her so terribly, each and every day.
