Memorial Tributes

Frodo was my heart dog. We adopted him as a puppy in 2000. He was a Lab mix and a loyal and smart companion.
In the summer of 2011, the Mouse River in Minot flooded and we were forced to evacuate. At the same time, we learned Frodo had bladder cancer. I spent the summer coaxing him to eat, giving him pills and doing subcutaneous fluids. We were able to bring him home in July, when they lifted the evacuation order and I thought that would help him. It didn't. He went into complete renal failure and I held his paw as he went to the Rainbow Bridge on August 1, 2011. I still miss my big guy after over two years.
