in memory of

Eevon Rose Franklin

Apr 20, 2001 - Dec 22, 2017 Missed by April in Texas

My beautiful Eevon has left us and with her she took a piece of me. When she was little every Sunday we would lay in bed watching animal planet k9 to 5 and we always discussed plans for her future. We talked about rescue training, therapy dog, k9 unit and her personal favorite a taste tester at fancy restaurants. She might not have done any of those things but she had the most important job ever. Being my best friend and my fearless adventurer. I'll miss her bark, her antics, going on our walks, her excitement over wrapped presents, her smarts, singing her Tom Jones parody "it's not unusual to be loved by Eevon. It's not unusual to have fun with the fuzzy one!" and her amazing fluffy fur. I'll miss all of that and so much more. My life is now emptier, quieter I don't know how I'll live without her. In our last moments together I hugged her as hard as I could, kissed her and told her how much I loved her. I held her tightly against me to keep her calm and comfortable until the end.
