Jewel was unlike any other dog I have ever had. We got to bond with her from 1 were litter mates I believe. They were inseparable. Angel was the "mommy" caretaker (always making sure her "little" sister was clean and neat. BUT she loved to torment Jewel. She would run up and grab a squeaky toy from Jewel and take off running. Jewel would be right behind her and almost catching her "big" sis until Angel would dart under the stairs or under a table and Jewel would have to come to a screeching halt. Angel cost us a bit of money having to have Jewels "knees" repaired at 6 AND 12 months old. We lost Jewel on the last day of March 2016 and she is the other reason I started our Animal Food Bank in my community. She was a true "Pittie" Ambassador and so her legacy will also live on. A & J's Animal Food Bank is for Angel & Jewel.
