Memorial Tributes
(May 26, 2007 - November 26, 2022)
By Kevin & Deborah Boone in Cedar Lake, Indiana

We were visiting our Son in Texas over the Thanksgiving Holiday in 2007 and on our way home we rescued a young Golden Retriever Mix at the Hotel in Missouri on November 26,2007. We Named the Dog Chloe and she lived with us for 15 years and passed away on November 26th. 2022. All the tests showed she had Tumors in her lungs and stomach and her blood count was going down fast.. After many tests and X-rays we found out not only did she have tumors but only had a week or so to live. Our Veterinarian also informed us she had been shot as a bullet showed up in the X-ray. We were both shocked as we couldn't believe how anyone could shoot such a sweet, kind and lovable dog as she was. On Saturday November 26th. at 9:16 pm she passed away in her bed with both of us by her side. We miss her so much words can't describe the pain and sorrow. We know now she's in a better place running free and once again happy as she always was.. We always said she found us we didn't find her. .
