Boots & Arrow

Talk about a Cinderella story: Arrow, a dog with a sweet spirit and a crooked face, went from being an injured stray to the spokesmodel for her very own brand of pet and human accessories.

Arrow is the namesake of Boots & Arrow, an Austin, Texas-company that creates dog collars and other items out of reclaimed leather from cowboy boots.

Kristin Moses, who runs the branding firm DesignGood Studio, fell in love with Arrow when she saw her story on the website of the rescue group ADORE Houston. Arrow had been severely injured, had a disfigured face and had been through reconstructive surgery.

Arrow found a home with Kristin and her other dogs, Gracie and Della. And in Arrow, Kristin found a muse. She wanted to find a way to help other dogs who had rough starts in life. With her background in design, creating an accessories line was a natural fit for Moses. For materials, the Texas native looked to a Lone Star icon: the cowboy boot.

Made in Austin, each Boots & Arrow collar is unique and features details like hand stitching, solid brass hardware, laser etching and hand painting. If you have a soft spot for big dogs, as Kristin does, you’ll be happy to know that sizing goes all the way up to extra large, which is designed to fit breeds like English Mastiffs, Great Danes, and Newfoundlands. Besides collars, Boots & Arrow offers leashes and waste bags for your pup, and accessories like money clips and keychains for you.

Best of all, Boots & Arrow donates proceeds from every sale to rescue groups, so more dogs like Arrow get a second chance at life. You can shop the Boots & Arrow line at bootsandarrow.co and even get a discount by sending in your old boots to be transformed into new accessories.

Howdy would you mind stating which blog platform you're working with?

I'm going to start my own blog in the near future but I'm having a difficult time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I'm
looking for something unique. P.S My apologies for being
off-topic but I had to ask! http://www.packersheritagetrail.com/UserProfile/tabid/61/userId/2516846/Default.aspx
